So, I got one of these for my brother who is off to Australia for a year and asked specifically for a "decent rucksack" to cart his daily kit about.

I searched through all kinds of options from SwissGear, Wenger, Lowepro and some more tactical type things with loads of pockets and one day all of a sudden I remembered my biggest regret was selling a Planet bag from a few years back, so off to the Planet website to see what the current offering was and well, here it is after an email to Stoney and within a matter of hours it was on my doorstep :)

I presented it to my brother whose exact words were

"If it's as good as the last one I could kick this f*cking thing around Australia for a year and it'll be fine!!"

He's not far wrong. Build quality is excellent, really heavy material and good stitching. Quite a sturdy bag, not heavy but not skimpy.

It opens the full way for easy packing and unpacking, has a laptop sleeve which was one of the criteria when picking the bag.

As you can see, loads of space. Can hold a full day's playing kit without any problem at all, hook your pack around the outside of it with pods in and you're golden.

Front pocket with netted sections for misc items and tools etc,

There's another pouch pocket on the outside front, two good size side pockets with zips and a top pocket for your phone, music player or sunglasses. It has a headphone slot too for whiling away those boring road trips and hours in the airport.

Anyway, thanks to Planet and Stoney in particular for the stellar service and superfast delivery, great product which I highly recommend :)

So good I'll be having another one for myself come payday............
