First welcome to the forum, do you have a budget to get all of your gear if so you will be looking at £275 to £350 just for a Etek 4 (depending if you want LT or AM). I have a couple of Eteks they are great markers. What other equipment are you looking for?

Hi there, thanks for the welcome. I am looking at around £300-400 for a marker. and i will eventually need to get everything pretty much! Are you looking at selling an Etek? And im under the imprecision that the AM and LT the only difference is that the AM has metal fittings in places? So would this make much difference?

Thanks for your help!

Hi sorry not looking at parting with mine yet. Yeah you are correct that AM has metal parts and the LT has renforced plastic parts. There is quite a difference in weight I have an original Etek and a Etek 3 LT and you can feel the difference between the two.

Good luck in finding your first marker
