I am thinking about getting a pistol but not sure about which to get ?, I know that different people like different pistols but I have been away for a couple of years and would like to start getting back into it when work allows but which pistol do you use on the playing field ? I have my marker sorted but just looking for a hand pistol so come on and give me some of your opinions thanks

As your only marker I'd advise against, many have tried it, only three I know of have made a real success of it.

Thanks for the advice cannon fodder but I have an X7 as my main marker once I have dusted it off it was just a secondary that I was thinking about as I may have not made that clear in my other post

Pistols always sound a good idea, but carried as a secondary is just weight
You can reload pod to hopper quicker - and for anything other than that you are planning to fail rather than maintaining & learning to keep your main ready

But they are fun

You have general choices :
Common cheaper pistols - but tend to be chunky like the delta 68 etc (basically a spyder chopped down)
Alternate sized pistols such as .43 or .50 calibre

If willing to pay the money then there are the TiPx and Tiberius, but as a secondary that's a lot of money on a pistol that you intend to carry and not use

There are a few threads on reasoning and their advantages.
If just as a secondary sidearm then the TiPx can be carried with a 12 gram unpunctured until you fire. (In theory take it to every game and don't use any 12 grams if you don't shoot - however you need to chrono which means you use at least one per day )

Sa-17, cheap and reliable. Its unsightly and not mag fed which makes people wary but its a very good gun! If had mine nearly 2 years and only took it apart once simply because it was dirty. Never chopped a ball or failed on me.

My dad uses a tpx that requires constant maintainance (once or twice a day when using it) and its giving me a strong appreciation for how reliable it is.

Its defiantly worth a consideration. Plus you don't have to buy expensive mags. Just need a few 10 shot pods.

Tipx is the best beginners pistol.. Easy to use, maintain and get to grips with..
Tib 8 are good ah tough in my opinion for a slightly more experienced user.
43 cal pistols are great for indoor use but outdoors a tipx will out do the range and accuracy

I agree with Robby, go for the Tipx, not only that the mag are a dam sight cheaper then the Tiberius ones (also zeta mags 20 round) ! With my Tiberius I found it a pain to keep having to put the Co2 in the mag and then changing it etc as well as at I had a lot of issues with the mags not sealing !
With the Tipx you just put a Co2 in the front and bam your ready to roll. There's loads of videos on YouTube and threads regards pistols.

Tipx is great but dont use it as your primary use it as your secondary unless you would like to run it off a remote line on hpa your gonna need more mags also zetamags are great 20 rounds in a mag 10 in one side then flip the other way for the other 10 overall pistols are not worth getting unless you have a main which you do so knock yourself out
Also use hpa get the adapter for the remote line and a hpa tank that you can strap onto yourself and away you go !
