--It is hard to argue with the success of the NPPL. Sure you can find things to bitch about but compare the last event to events of 2 years ago. The difference is like throwing a paintball and shooting one!~ Mad props to Pure Promotions and the NPPL staff.
--Dynasty has proven that they are the best team in paintball. That said, the Naughty Dogs are a real pro team. They gave Dynasty a true fight and could probably handle any Pro team. I still don't think anyone can beat Dynasty 2 out of 3.
--Team Nexus from England had a great Prelims. Half of Robbo's team were playing Novice last year so they have made some big improvements. Great coaching goes a long way.
--Euro teams are starting to scare me. You can't count them as easy wins anymore. Legion makes the finals and Ton Tons were 1 body away from the finals.
--Some great talk on P8ntballer.com's forum. Probably the smartest posters in paintball.
--Warped Sports is spreading like SARS. A new Warped Sub-Station at the Paintball Pro Shop in Dallas.
--Top Am division teams stepped on their dicks Sunday. KAPP looked very strong and has finally risen to the level they can play at. They may be the best Am team in paintball.
--VL All stars surprised alot of folks with the 2nd place finish. Nate was telling me early this season they were gonna be good. They just needed some time to gel.
--Seems PBGateway caught a bug in Portugal and were just dead tired all event. They also had a few guys that couldn't make this event. I wouldn't count them out for the season yet. They have some great ballers and my sources say a great captain!
--New boards in the eVLution II hoppers are kick ass. Players were saying they are as fast as the HALOS.
--Not many players showed for the concert and extracurricular events but my peops who went said they were a blast and were 1st class!
--Reffing was good at the NPPL. The refs worked hard and got in the right positions. No love for anybody! The only problems came to interpretations of the rules. The NPPL has really put alot of effort into getting the best refs possible. Hell the fly over whole teams from Europe. Put them up in hotels, feed them, the works. The refs say the appreciate the first class treatment to.
--Lots of good paint! Everyone has some kick ass paint! No bad bunches.
--Ton Tons are for real. They are playing some really aggressive ball!
--Detroit Thunder players getting $100 per game. Win or lose. ( I like to players getting paid.)
--The NPPL Pro division is garbage. After the top 3 the talent drops way off. Teams like Evil, Kapp, and STP would be top 10 NPPL Pros.

-- The Angel Speed was getting rave reviews in Vegas. The gun cycles 60% faster then previous versions. It has one of the coolest features I have heard of. It can sense how many balls are in the stack and adjust to keep it shooting fast. Players said it shoots fast like any other gun but it's advantage is how easy it is to maintain a lightning fast rate of fire. Like a frozen rope. People were also saying that the accuracy was much better then years past. The kicker is it sells for less then a grand!
--Big Phil (NPPL Ultimate Ref) did another kick ass job. He has really stepped up and makes the right decisions. Treat him good!
--PSP has announced a great venue change! They are now playing on grass at a city park in Vegas!
Grass!! not soft rocks.
--FYI- Stop bashing Lane. He only works for the PSP and really tries his best to look out for us players.
--New Top Tens coming. All leagues merged into 1!

--Euro Millennium is still a go. They say they canceled the end games due to time. They are also buying back the jerseys the teams were forced to buy. They are really trying to get things straightened out.

--PSP may be getting a new ultimate ref! "LD" or Lorenz Dickensen, ex Image,All A's, and Extreme, may be coming on board to take Cookstons place. LD was like Lasoya back in the day. Everyone wanted him. He would be a big step up for the PSP.
