Because I'd like to make sure that everybody sees this announcement from the admin boys, I'm posting it up again as a regular message (somehow the official announcement does not appear when you hit view new posts )
So here goes, this is the official announcement as I copied it from admin:
Images and Private Messaging (21-06-2002 until 22-07-2002)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just to prove we do listen and take action (manike!) we have, with immediate, enabled users to include images in posts. Due to bandwidth issues we can't allow these to be hosted on our site, however, as long as they are on the web somewhere you can now reference these by using tags - when posting a message select 'img' and in the input box key in the image url eg.http://www.p8ntballer.com/imagebank/logo.gif.
We must make it absolutely clear that members automatically posting inappropriate images (i.e. not paintball related) will be automatically banned. Additionally, should we encounter a number of inappropriate posts we will consider reverting back to a 'no image' policy.
On a different note we are currently testing the Private Messaging system with a view, all things going well, introducing it next week.
All the best.
