Ok first off let me say that this is not a criticism well may be it is a little bit. Im not a happy 'baller why! well the main reson is that i think the Brit 'ballers get a raw deal when it comes to reports on British tourneys in PGI! Now it may be just me being selfish but in this country we do hold quite a few tourneys each month but there doesnt seem to be many reports of the tourneys being held. Is it the tourney organizers not submitting reports that i dont know!
Yes i like reading about US tourneys but im a Brit who likes to read about Brit Tourneys aswell but there arent any. Is it because the tourneys held in this country arent as big (but we cant hold a Campaign every month) but take for instance this weekend just gone S2002 Simply the best Woodland that was held i wasnt there unfortunately but i bet there was at least 30+ teams there now this is only one example there are many others that are held in the UK that are just as well supported!
I've been reading this mag since '92 when we were still using pumps and semis were only just coming onto the market, Robbo still had hair still then! but there was always UK tourney reports in (probably cos it was a Brit mag then).
But times move on the mag has gone global which is great but i think the mag could be greater! With more Tourney reports both UK and US but not just the big tourneys but the grass roots tourneys aswell so we can someday all have that little bit of glory in this mag!
So c'mon PGI its a great mag but lets make it alittle better and i hope i havent offended anyone in the process :D

History repeats itself.....
Hey bro, have a good look around in the 'speak your brains' section of this board, you'll find plenty of threads on this subject, and the explanation why...

Robbo, I never seen you display such restraint before! What's up? Are you ill? :D

And so the flaming began...

And how far back exactly does he have to go??

His post count is 1... fair bet he's new here?

I've been coming in here for about 6 weeks now, not long I know, and I haven't seen a discussion on this subject. I tend to read at least the first post of every thread but maybe I've missed it.

Given that you remember these threads, and the titles (which sometimes bear no resemblence to the content) see how long it takes you to find one.

Don't get me wrong... I can understand that you, as people who have been here a while, have heard this question over and over and over. But if questions like this are getting asked repeatedly as new people join these boards then maybe the answers should be readily available, not buried pages back.

Just a thought...

Of course, if the answers are sitting on this page then I'm about to look really fuffing stupid

Good point with what you guys say about being new and so having missed the threads. But I also hope you can understand how some of us feel after seeing the same topic over and over again.
Not just this thread mind you, I have this disturbing feeling that soon the topic of 'which marker is the most accurate' will spring back to it's gazillionth incarnation. :D
On behalf of all the previous posters, our apologies for being a bit short tempered, irrespective of whether we agree with your views on PGI or not.
By the way, please do read the links Beaker provided (Beak, where would we be without you?). They make some interesting reading.
