PB 2Xtremes: Jay Smackowski on WPG?

My good buds Gino and John over at 2Xtremes gave their readers a heads-up about What Paintball Gear? in their latest issue, and the guy who wrote it - dude name of Jay Smackowski - raised a coupla interesting points. He wrote: "...how honest will the product reviews be? Is PGI willing to risk losing advertisers in the main mag for a one time title?"

Well fellas, as y'all know, Justin, Ravi, Jack et al have been writing it like they see it in PGI for a while now, and from what I've seen of WPG? courtesy of Tha Antman, they're still shooting from the hip in the new mag.

BTW - Jay Smackowski? Come on guys, made-up characters are sooooooooo lame.

BTW2, World's Thinnest Books: 'Losing with Dignity' by the All Americans...laughed my ass off.

Peace,

TJ

I think...

...that any companies who are assuming Mr. Jay Smackowski's line of reasoning is accurate WILL be in for a big surprise if their product falls short of claims, intentions, or similar products on the market. I can't speak directly for the other writers but I can say with certainty that I've been taking my obligation to Paintball's consumers VERY seriously with this project.

The Antman

I think I met him once. He signed a pair of his boxers for me, which I keep in a glass case at the center of my shrine to PGI. Can't wait for his autobiography to come out.
