(now know where to put it)

ive used paypal alot know what to do and how to do it, but you find someone on the forum and want to buy something from them.

you send them some money to them over paypal and they give you the tracking number so you know where your stuff is...

What do you do when theres only hay in the box ? or find there is no box and some guy miles and miles away isnt just laughing to themselves ? you have to compltly trust the guy at the other end so send you the things, alternativly they have to trust you not to cancel the payment once the package is sent..

What are you thoughts on it all ?

Normally you can ask for pics with the persons username in the back ground or get other people to voucher for the seller with people they had traded before...

Best idea is to look at people past posts and see if they have bought or sold alot... you can ideally trust platunium members and most of the people on here not many have had problems and if a rat is smelt most mods etc will catch them out

with anything over £200, ask for a special delivery, then ask when they will post it, if they say thursday, and its monday, pay on wednesday night, that way you have less chance of losing you money, if it doesnt come on friday, make a claim, too many times people just wait and after a week, the person has shifted all there money out of paypal. Happens all the time. It is a shame, but the only way to really buy anything is from either regular posters on the forums or platinum members.

Yeah anyone who's been here a while or has made themself known either through sales or idle banter is prettyy trustworthy. And if not we just get Robbo down to sort 'em ;)
As it's such a small community and mud sticks so to speak, people generally won't mess you about.

check out their feedback and if they have none, just make a thread and ask people if the person you want to trade with is trustworthy or not, havent been on here all that long, couple of months but have already made some great friends. Pretty much everyone on here is trustworthy but best to check with others to be safe.
also if they have alot of posts(as i obviously do:p:rolleyes:) is a good way to see if they are i.e if they have alot they have been around a long time etc.
