they take 4% unless you are a verified seller, or it works out at something like that. there is a way of getting it % free
Even verified sellers pay fees. It's about 3.4% I pay (+ a one-off charge of 20p). Everyone rounds it off to 4% though (easier to calculate).

You have to do a lot of trade through them to get lower fee's, I think the first level is £15000 a month, and thats not even much of a discount.

thats pretty crazy... apart from car sellers, i cant think of many shops that'd sell more than that on eBay in a month 
Yeah, but...dont forget about teh actual Idea of Ebay, is to bring products to teh masses..so you could in effect have an almost unlimited customer base...so £15000 a month wouldnt be that hard.
