Have had this for a few years as our main DVD player + TV recordy type thing, it's in perfect working order and totally reliable.
It DOESN'T have a Freeview tuner, only analogue. It can record from any source connected via SCART (external Freeview tuner, Virgin cable etc - we've always used it to record from Virgin), recordings need to have timer events set for them (there's no EPG). 80gb hard disk at the second highest recording quality (which gives broadcast quality images) gives you about 34hrs of recordings.
Stuff recorded onto the hard drive can be dubbed onto recordable DVDs (it supports DVD-R and DVD-RAM), although this takes a while and isn't something I've made use of.
Has optical audio out, scart and component video out. It's multi-region so will play US DVDs.
Comes with remote which functions fine, although the buttons need a firm press to activate. Manual, power and SCART cables included.
£50 if you can collect (from Grays in Essex), £60 if I have to post it.
