any one had any experience of them?
what are they like? do most the people speak english?

just curious as i was reading pgi's (227) article on the pal world cup whilst on the pooper (only back issues in the bog) and thought i't be a wicked holiday.

2 weks in kuala lumper(sp?) with a tourney in the middle, sounds like my ideal holiday :D

TBh its only really a flight of fancy tho, i am in no financial state to be flying half way around the world to ball (maybe in a year or so). but still i did a search and could not see a thread on it so here i am, asking unnecerssay questions:p

been to Kuala Lumpur, nice place, you can say English is the 2nd language there.
Went there for a paintball tourney back in 2005 (not PALS series)
Expect it to be hot and humid, around 30degrees Celcius during the day.. :)

KL is a lovely place for a holiday, if you go try and hop over to Singapore for a few days, well worth it.

I went to run the first one for them in Dec 2004 (A week before the Tsunami) and it is a wonderful place.

I would recommend it to anyone as a holiday/event, the cost of living is very cheap (Big mac Meal was about 70p) I remember on the first night at the hotel we could not make up our minds on what to eat so Edwards decided we would get the lot about three meals each and it came to less than a tenner with beer.

The paintball is getting better every event and you can get flights for about five hundred each and hotels - good ones - are about thirty quid a night for a twin room with breakfast.

Paint is about the same price as the UK because of their import duties.
