painting your marker

hi guys is there a perticular way to paint ya maker?
ive got a friend who paints cars and was just thinking is it fine to get him to paint parts i want changing or do ya have to do it a certain way? i only wanna change the colour nothing crazy,
didnt no were else to put this thread, thanks guys

I'm no expert but I would say that maybe getting your marker annodized might have the best finish in changing the colour of the marker by an annodized specialist company. Alot of people on here know more about this than I do so good luck and I look forward to seeing the end result.

car paint should do the trick if you want a nice simple finish. just ensure its sanded right down to metal, or if it's composite, key it well.

I was gonna spray my BT4 but i actually prefer it looking scrathed and metal-ly

I've got an ego 10 an was only gonna do a few bits will show me mate anyway an see what he says as he should no a little, was just gonna do something a little different, any colours people would suggest? I was just gonna go for blue to match my kit,

What colour is the rest of your marker?

Can paint will NOT work, use the search button and see some of the messes people have made of there markers. And im the process reducing the value of the marker in half. So dont do it
