Nevermind, saw your other post. Which are the closest paintball centers to you and what kind of team were you thinking about forming?
I'm just starting out with my own kit too. Most likely wont be match-practice worthy for a few months starting at the end of this one (2 at least I reckon), but I can rent stuff if need be.

I was thinking of an x-ball team but i think we would be able to play other types of games such as woodsball if not just for fun. My nearest centre is probably paintball park or but warped in cosford is good too. I've got a couple of friends who might join the team if we start one.
I'm all up for having that as a goal but to start out immediately going after tournies might be a killer to a new team. I'd like to be competing eventually but for now I'd rather be doing woodsball and Scenarios, so we can "slut it about" as it were and see how it all works (and give us a chance to practice and get used to each others quirks).
Paintball Park in Kiddy is my closest too and would be an ideal place to test our kit since they don't mind whether it's a walk-on day or not, so long as our markers are firing within regs and use HPA, as that's all they use(I've sourced them about this already as a show of how serious I am). Speaking of kit, how much do you have if any? In 2 weeks I'll have the beginnings of mine (Marker, mask, hopper, HPA maybe a fold away grip too) like I said before.
I'm going to be going down to 'PBP' periodically over the coming months (but definitely on the last weekend of October) if you want to sort out meets (bring your mates, I'll bring mine) and we'll get to know one another, lob some paint around, as well as wishes/plans/ideas for the team. I think I should be able to get to Cosford too if needs be, not been to Warped yet.
Any other of the Midlands based forumers that want to get in on this, I would say are more than welcome. Even if it's just to get familiar with local players and put some faces to these screen names!

i wish i lived near, i really wanna play/join a team, if there is any teams close to Newcastle Upon Tyne then message me, me and a friend would consider
If you want you can come to warped 5s on the 28th august at cosford warped look under warped 5s in scenario and rec ball forums. My friends who might join the team will be there so it would be a chance to meet them as well. I'm going away for 2 weeks tomorrow so i won't be around to talk to but i'll check my messages when i'm back so if your going send me a message. I think playing some scenario days would be good so if you know of any let me know and i'll see if I can come.
