Hi there lads and girls,
I am thinking of getting my own gear and joining a paintballing team, any of you know what teams there are in Kent near the Paddock Wood area or in general in Kent?
Thanks

The two best places to start are by:
1= contacting warren "tiger jedi", who runs his ashford site and is running regular competitions which loads of teams will obviously be attending
2= turn up at one of the Dartford7's and again speak to the teams
3= Go to the euro5man this weekend at ashford, rumour has it there may be one or two teams there?
A word of advice tho, you will probably need your own gear to start out, most teams would probably lend you something first time out or if your gear breaks but don't expect free gear the first time out, sponsorship in paintball isn't that generous !

yer hes right. whether the team is high rank or low rank doesnt matter really..if there a high rank team they probably wont give great interest into you due to lack of equipment and experience(not meaning it at you dude) and if the team is a bit lower rank they might not have all the sponsers and great deal of equipment to be lending it out. just as it says above try them out and im sure youll find something that tickles ya fancy

This comes up a lot, and the best advice is to try some guns out first and then buy what you like.
I don't like to say this but the Ion is a good starter and currently £155 @ bigdick's paintball, which'd give you just about enough for air too, but if you don't want a lump of korean plastic and you want a proper gun then check the classifieds.
E-blades, impy's and angels etc are all going for nothing these days, so do a little homework first and then post your wanted ad in the classifieds
Skeet has a lovely E-blade with zero-b for £200 if your interested
