Hello again people,

I have finally finished the new and improved v2 of my paintball tactics program for my final year project.

Well, first impressions of it are very good. Not to overcrowded etc. There could do with more bunkers and the delete last bunker button doesnt work, i've been on it for 10 mins so i've only had a chance at making a field (which gets bloody annoying as i have to make it perfect first time!) Other than that, im impressed

EDIT I've been on it for around half an hour and im confused, the tactics part just doesnt make sense, what would be better is a menu (,like selecting bunkers) where you can select what to do like you click move, then click where you want go, shoot then click where you want to shoot etc.

Hi Benn0r,
thanks for having alook at the game, did u read the readme? as that described the steps to place the moves.
The delete bunker button works if u press it fifty million times randomly lol something i cant get fixed at the moment.

Basically the tactics placement works by clicking the player you want to move then selecting their primary location to move to, a menu comes up asking what movement you want to that bunker position, if u click walk and shoot or shoot then run the next click is where you are shooting paint to on the screen then the next click after that is the secondary bunker location. After this the next click is the third bunker movement, once this is selected a stance menu comes up to choose their ending stance.
If you click for the player to run to their first bunker the next click will be the secondary bunker and the one after will be third followed by the stance menu as before.

hey - i too am at portsmouth uni!! the software is very good - excellent program tho the placing of the tactics could do with a bit of a makeover.

that aside it is an excellent peice of software


oh and the survey has been filled in - good luck with the dissertation - 3yrs before i got to do mine
