Similar prices to rental ball here in the UK if not slightly cheaper... and they use INFERNOS. Big up to POWERBALL!
If you havent got transport there's a frequent bus service that goes from Playa De Las Americas to Los Gigantes via Playa de San Juan. From Las Americas it will take you less than an hour and is cheap as chips, if you buy a return its cheaper still. You'll also need to take your passport to the site.
Now suddenly that 10 day holiday doesn't seem so much of a chore does it??!
PS Ask them if they need a resident Inferno Tec while you're out there... room and board plus 300 euros a week spending money and i'm hired... farewell Delta Force, lol!

There was one rental site just outside the Playa de las Americas back in 2000 when I was visiting the island. I'll dig up the address when I get home.
The owner was a cool guy, he gave me a cheaper price when he found out I'm a tournament player
