Just wondering what kind of protection the pro-photographers use for their cameras when shooting paintball.

IV been thinking about purchasing the "camera armor" but for my DSLR, the specific armour is only available through the dealer, in the states. so would probably cost a fair whack to get it sent over.
the armour itself is around £40, but could be close to double that with shipping and customs charges.

Also, its a tight fit to the body, and after emailing the manufacturer they said it was "safe" for paintball impacts, but i was just wondering if anyone has acctually used this product and has any experience with it?

or if they could recommend anything else which is just as good, or better?

thanks people

i believe most people use a soft cover and just generally hope the high vis vest means they dont get shot on purpose, and being able to see the field and whats about to happen, should mean they don't get accidentally shot when someone goes in for a mugging... etc :)
