After the Tampa NPPL I was looking for info on some of the unheralded teams present. First place I looked was profiles at nppl.tv and found almost nothing--apparently most teams aren't interested in self-promotion--but anyway, I tried a few of the links and ended up at a site called Paintballa.com, an online retail outlet connected somehow or other to the team, Ice Men and some field in Cali. That's the background.
The part that's annoying me is that within a couple of days I was receiving email promotions from Paintballa.com. Did I register at the website? Nope. Did I request additional info? Nope. I did absolutely zip except visit their site ONE time.
And to make it even better they close their promos as follows:

Don't'cha just love it? As you might imagine I dropped them a note. "Dear Sirs, you suck"
What I want to know is if anyone else has had a paintball site use similar tactics to spam them. It's the sort of conduct you expect from some sleazoid porn operation but I was kinda surprised to see a PB business doing this. what'dya think?
