Paintball on tv again

Just watched hollyoaks and some fool has had his stag party at an adult adventure centre. Lo and behold there they are orientering and what do we see but them walk into the middle of a paintball game.
{Insert usual rant here about them walking around in a paintball game with no googles here}

Once again bad media coverage.

Well apart from the fact that the actors were in an area with no googles on where there were people playing. The researchers had gone to town on it. Not only do we hear a thuderflash go off and see one of the so called players fall over like he had been hit by Robbo. but to add insult to injury the sound people had decided to overlay the sound of a sub-machine gun in the distance.
Big red sign said 'welcome to ambush zone' so where is this?

Might just be me ranting because I'm in a fickle mood again though.

ok the machine gun sound u were talkin about was probably sound effects!

not many people will believe that is the proper way to play paintball as it is as u said "Hollyoaks" come on man think some sence.

I am happy to say if the peoplw who watched it and thought that is how it is played well quite frankly I dont want them to play paintball if there that thick!!!



u also gotta remember the program "Spaced" the comedy kinda series, they had paintball in it and it is the same thing! if people thought we went around like what they done on the tv shows, then it was retarded!!

I'm always in two minds about things like this. As long as they don't show injury, the benefit to paintball of increased publicity may outweigh the crass stupidity of the programs themselves
