Paintball on telly (video link included)

After Toulouse the kamikazees team have been doing their bit for paintball by getting us on television in Carlisle.

This was shown on the local news section on mainstream TV in the Carlisle area.

I think it came out quite well, the only bad comment made was by the news reader, saying it was a violent passtime.

The reporter insisted we shoot the crap out of him, otherwise it wouldnt have been interesting for the general public. We reluctantly obliged ;)

Plus Stu was trying to say err as many times as he could in his interview, it was for a bet

Download it here.

Sorry about the bad colour.

Comments appreciated.

Me too but these guys deserve credit for getting PB into the public domain, especially when the entire sport could easily go down the pan in the UK.

The last people to do that were PJ and Duncan and that showed paintball in a slightly more cynical light.

Its pretty sad to pick up on that line aswell, I would imagine the broadcasters were wary of putting our 'sport' on their programme.

They wrote the commentary to add relevance and interest to something which otherwise is just a load of rambo wannabies.

just want to say well done to anyone who promotes the sport, i dont personally care if the reporters get some small facts wrong as the general idea of paintball in the woods is changed for anyone who watched this and read about these kind of events in the paper.

promotion is really the only way we can get more attention from the public and so well done to you all, the kams, escarmouche and more recently nexus

i fully support all of the 'worlds top sides':D because what does the public know anyway! we just want to make them really interested in finding out more and as john said who would be interested in a load of rambo wannabies!
