Contrary to my original post, I have heard back from Esprit and Eurostar have changed their minds about allowing markers on the Eurostar direct to EuroDisney.
I am talking to both parties and hopefully they will let us know the outcome Friday.
Will post message on this thread as soon as I know.
My team have taken them across via eurostar, and we even got stopped by customs on the way out and i do mean on the way out, and all they wanted was to have a look at the guns and to have a good play so i can not see any problems.
Didn't catch the second chaps name he seems to be above the chap at Ashford and it seems to be about who is going to give the go ahead if they do. This guy will phone me tomorrow with their decision it maybe that the bags have to be tagged in someway. It's to do with the fact that they could be mistaken for guns ( only by a blind man with his eyes shut) but in these times they want to be sure. Will post as soon as I get a reply.
Any other teams travelling on Eurostar let me know so I can go back to him with a better idea of how many markers to expect
Can I suggest that the next time someone says "yes", to get them to FAX/Email over a copy of this confirmation, and then to send out copies of this to all those travelling? That way it has more credibility than a bunch of ballers turning up at Waterloo/Ashford and getting irate at the customs people...
Hopefully this is sorted out, I should have an email coming confirming that we allowed kit on board the trains in a secure hold. Kit will have to be checked in seperately.
I will forward a copy of the email on to the tigers, anyone else who would like a copy please mail me Andy@monkeylovepaintball.com or get in touch with Buns of Steel as in his previous post!
