Paintball markers on Eurostar

Just spoke to Eurostar and Esprit (their baggage carriers) and no problem taking markers on board. All you need to do is make them in-effective, degas and remove bottle if possible.also no ammo so check those pots and the bottom of your bags.
If you are travelling as a team go to group bookings on 08706 000777 you can get a group discount, we saved £30 a head.
10.31 from Ashford goes straight to Disneyland resort. Arrives before the earlier train and is cheaper if you take the non-refundable tickets,( be sure everyone is going.)
When you book let them know your going to the Paintball at Eurodisney and you shouldn't have any problems.

Yeah I can concur. I spoke with Esprit yesterday.

Basically they do not offer a baggage service to Disney as all the cargo space is taken up by Disney and other business' apparently.

Because of this our bags will remain with us for the entire journey. They are cutting us a lot of slack here so I think we should be greatful!

Esprit on our behalf contacted EuroStar Security office who have said that as long as the markers are dismantled as the nice Toiger pointed out and that you are not carrying any "Ammunition" then markers will be allowed on board.

So basically guys, lets not ruin this for all of us. Take all your bottles off regs, barrels of markers etc. Don't carry ANY PAINT. Ditch what you have left before leaving.

As this came from the central security office I would still take a copy of PGI, this months even has an advert for Camp Masters to help out!

If you still have problems, the Security officer that had the final say on the matter is a guy called Pete Barry. Hopefully he'll be on duty on the day we travel!
