Toulouse will be the first tournament i have ever flown to and I wanted to know what the issues are with taking air bottles and markers on the plane.

Thanks

airlines & paintball kit

i have travelled a few times on aircraft with paintball kit. The most important thing they require is for the bottles to be completely de-gassed. We always tell the airline what is in the kit and they are ok. Check in good and early.
One tourney however they lost our kit, had to borrow from Smart Parts, thanks again Phil.:D

To take the plane with paintball equipement you have to:

- have your air system empty and open, its better if you can unscrew it from your bottle, so its easier to show, if you are asked.

- take care how you pack your luggage, it could be dangerous for your paintball equipement, when you see how they throw it from the plane...

- take some paintball magazines, if you have to explain what it is it will be easier

- say that you have paintball equipment when you register your luggage

- NEVER take your paintball equipment with your cabin luggage, they will not let you pass

Enjoy your travel to Toulouse, it will be great, for sure.

Darlington, co.durham,
groups.msn.com
just booked a flight to portugal with briish airways

they say that the bolt must be removed from marker and put into seperate bag the marker must be boxed and in a bag
but they will not let me take my air bottle or co2 bottle
they said it must be packed and sent out by courier

but our captain is flying out from newcastle and as long as the bottles are degassed then they don`t have a problem with them

but every airline is different you would be better off phoning the airline you are flying with
hope this helps you
