I went down to watch the finals at Campaign Cup on Sunday. A year ago I would have said that Paintball still has two or three years to go before it was ready to go mainstream. But after what I saw yesterday, I reckon we're there already.

That was quite simply some of the most exciting stuff I've ever seen!! And I've been told that the X-Ball was even better!!

So what are we waiting for??!!!

Yup, read about X-ball a while ago, thought it would be a bit of a flop, not that much different to watching normal paintball.

Wow, how wrong I was - after watching the USA vs Denmark match on Friday at CC, I was speechless - it was simply awesome to watch - has to be seen to be believed - the fact that we watched it from a massively raised platform at the side, with the staging area underneah made it simply superb to watch. Needs to be televised asap! I felt a bit sorry for the Yanks, but the crowd (me included) were basically all booing the Yanks and cheering the Danes, it was an awesome feeling, proper spectator sport finally!

Yeah I was there aswell, it was great. Team usa deserved the booing though, they argued all the time and were bad losers.

Yea XBall was wicked! Cant wait to watch it again-definately a format that makes paintball spectator friendly. Whenever you see it you will know! I got carried away with the crowds! You even found that people found it hard to stop being eager speactators in the games the next day-there was definately some over excited heckling at one game I saw on friday. :)

X ball

I worked the X ball flields for the everning games not as a marshall ,and I can tell you the tension in the players area was amazing ,some great teamwork to get the teams out on time and the crowds were fantastic, the U.S.A did get a bit upset but the rest of the teams played it in great spirit. hope it makes tv soon.
