not that it is terribly important to you guys, but paintball is still illegal here in Northern Ireland. makes it difficult for us to transport our markers etc. I personally have to travel to the republic of ireland every fortnight to practice. thought the law is meant to be changing...............

due to the fact that any time an idiot got hold of an air weapon, they were either out on the streets around the 12 july shooting either the fenians or the prods. or the army or RUC.

not necessarily true. in fact it was probably considered more benficial to get a real weapon as opposed to a "toy". at least in their eyes a real weapon was going to do some damage. like killing some poor soul.
and if it was down to you what would you do? fire a paintball or throw a petrol bomb that could be made in 10 seconds flat.

im talking about children getting hold of them and creating a nuisance rather than a severe threat. the people youre talking about that throw molotov coctails and shooting the sf are a minority group. but saying that, everyone that i have spoken to ireland (I spent 3 years living there) knows someone who can "get hold of stuff" or that has committed some kind of similar offence. so it cant be that much of a minority eh ?
