Paintball exbo's?

Just a quixk question, are there any UK paintball exibitions other than the ones at tourneys, i'm going to the london internation dive show at the weekend and was wundering if there is a similar paintball event, or does this hark back to the fact that paintball is an under recognised sport?

Why have an exibition when the only people hat would go to it attend other events?

trade stalls and stuff are spread across alot of different events just though it would be cool if there was a large trade show with most paintball companies there. Demos, new kit, etc. Would also raise awarness of the sport as even the large events are not that widely advertised.

Thats what vendors use the major league torneys for. It might raise awerness but who's going to foot the bill? People wouldn't pay to go and i dont really see what companys would get out of it so they wouldnt pay.

i understand that but not everyone goes to major league tourneys. Was just a thought. Personaly speaking i would pay to go and think it would help exposure of the sport and allow people to see kit and get a feel for it.

Just as an ideas i don't see why there would be such a bad thing. Companies would get more coverage and allow more exposure to there gear and markers (as well as trying to out do each other). Arn't exbo's bills usualy footed by the companies there and people paying for entry. Do you think it was such a bad idea?

I know theres a few over in the US, i did a tad of 'modeling' for sterling paintball for a exibition over in las vegas.

Think it would be good if it was attached to another extreme sports exhibition. The demographic for tourney ball would already be attending if the right sport was chosen to tag along with. The companies attending wouldnt be investing in a total failure, which is a possiblity if it was a paintball only event. Might help paintball be seen as an extreme sport inside the extreme sports community aswell
