Hi,

I hope this will be of interest to some of the members here. I know at least one prominent forum member here has agreed to be a judge. Not an easy task I know, but someone has to do it...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Combat Games, the paintball news and forum provider, has teamed up with some of the biggest names in the world of extreme sports to track down this year’s Paintball Cover Girl UK.

The competition was launched at www.combatgames.co.uk on October 14th and runs until December 15th. Eager beavers can apply online, where they are encouraged to disclose their particulars and upload their snapshots. The event is open to all comers.

The results of the competition will be announced on December 20th at www.combatgames.co.uk. The newly crowned queen of British paintball will be offered a sponsorship deal to model for Planet Eclipse. Runners up stand to win a state-of-the-art Halo B Hopper, the latest ION marker and tickets to walk-on events at Holmbush Paintball. A panel of industry heavyweights, including British paintball star, Ledz, and Andy Piper of PMI Europe, will preside.

Lance Beare, MD of Holmbush Paintball, commented, “With the likes of Keely Watson, Lisa Harvey and Michelle Chavez doing wonders for the sport’s stateside reputation, organizers of this unprecedented UK event are determined to bring a new level of glamour to the British paintball field.”

FaceFull and About have already covered it. Entries are coming in and it's shaping up to be a great contest. If you know any suitable ladies, please pass this news along.

Thanks

Maybe it's just me but I find a particular appellation within the text eye opening if not offensive and would have thought, given the nature of the contest, a little more care might have been taken in the wording.
