Iv been playing a little while and am finally gonna invest in some proper clothing for paintball. Some people have said to me that when I go to buy them, i should go 2 sizes above my own which would mean I would buy an XL (Im a Medium)

Is this a wise choice or should I stick to my normal size?

Pant wise no, dont go two size's up, there's really no point.
shirt wise, you can, but if your planning on playing any tourne's, i would advise you to only go one size up, as cloths has to be fitted, and not exsessivly baggy

Jersey should be baggy as it will be abit more comfortable (and allows pads etc to be under them, if you wear / want to wear pads), adds abit of bounce if its baggy, and you can grow into it (if your still growing that is :p)

Get an XL jersey mate. Baggy jerseys are the best. If the tourney you're playing gets a bit anal about you having it oversized, just tuck it in.

With regard to pants, I'd get a size bigger than you normall wear, so if you're a medium get Large. All paintball pants have adjustment straps to tighten/loosen them and you want them to be as baggy on you as possible - freedom of movement, bounciness etc :)

my 2 cents ^
