paintball bores?

Im thinkin of buying the Evil Pipe Barrel System. It comes with the interchangelble screw in bore system (differnt sized bore backs) How can I tell what bore will work best with what paintball? None of the balls give exact bore sizes on their boxes. How can I determine the best bore for the paintballs Im shooting? Thx alot.

put like 10 balls through the bore and blow on them, if it takes a really hard blow to get them out, its to small, if they just roll out its to big, if it takes a small effort to blow them out then that should be fine remember, its better to be big than small

The best way to test the correct bore size for your paint is to put one pball in the back of your barrel and blow it out the other end, ideally you want a bore that will provide enough friction to stop the ball from rolling out your barrel but not too much. I.e when you put the paintball in the back or your barrel it should not roll out, but when you blow down your barrel it does'nt take to much effort to do it.

The reason they don't put bore size's on a box of paint is that the air temprature and humity can effect the size.

As you're in the USA you could also look at the A3 Barrel kit - they do some amazing colours and the Empire Barrel Kit (which I presently use) - the A3 isn't available in the UK just yet - I'm just waiting...
