Paintball attack in Reading shops

How the hell did they get markers at that age and does anyone know who the hell they are? Great way of giving paintball a bad name!

What a load of CRAP! If they could we would have about 30 dead players after every tournament and about 10 after every punter game!! Statements like that should be classed as Libel and should be removed. It was bad enough with the whole Byker Grove crap, now we've got "news" sites spouting rubbish aswell!

i emailed them already, everyone should post up a comment regarding the article on their site.

Someone put a comment down saying that the guns are available in shops like gadget and stuff (thats those ****ty little ones which are water and crap).

I think the guns used might have been the ones stolen from all the recent tournies in Reading.

The pellet, which remained intact on impact, hit the 12-year-old, pictured, on the back causing a dark welt. An initial shot, which she saw coming towards her, narrowly missed her face.
At first Rebecca’s mum feared she was bleeding but it turned out to be paint residue from the bullet.

So if the paintball stayed intact on impact how would it leave paint residue?

Theres a Tradex/Trader Shop near me that sells paintball gear. They sell Markers (EG. Brass Eagle), Paintballs and co2 canisters .

I totally agree, problem is though they where quoting somebody which didn't have a clue what they are talking about!
