Paintball a Thing of the Past???

Alright people here it is... As most of you know the time is coming closer that my assignment in the UK is up. Tonight I got the options for where I am going when the time gets here. Well lets just say the UK wasn't one of them! So it looks like it's time for me to go and the only 3 options were 2 slots to Korea (been there done that) or Lajes Field in the Azores. So basically it looks as if I will be selling my kit once I find out if I am going there or not. Seeings how the Island is only 11 miles across and 7.5 tall. I doubt there is any paintball on the island. Unless anyone here can tell me different. Or maybe there is since they hold that Zap thing in Portugal. Well we'll see 30 August. Did I mention I would probably be doing less work there than I already do here?

To the Azores, eh? What I would do in your situation would be to trade your kit for a nice Penn International 80 lb standup set, Braid harness, and some nice Ilander and Moldcraft lures to go marlin fishing. The Azores has some of the best blue marlin fishing in the world, with catches up to and over 1000 lbs common. Don't miss a single minute of it!

KillerO of course I know all about that Marlin fishing! That was the 1st thing I saw when I visited a site about the Island.

FAMINE what's wrong with fishing? Man I tell you I would rather spend a day battling a 1000lb Marlin than waste 60 quid + paint cost to get shot up all day!

Chico I would go back to the States but chances like this are 1 in a million to get to see another country other than one of the typical desert ones we get sent to often. Besides paintballin' in the US can be done any time. My bro has spare kit for when I visit.
