Hmm, maybe they have a shortage after Paintfest, I'm not completely sure, you will have to give the guys at BZ a call. :)
Either way, Pure paint is very good, even the Pure Bronze. GI Sportz also produce great paint, LiPs is the UK Supplier for GI Paint. :)

Or GI Sports 3* or 4* (Mark beat me to it) I used 4* at paintfest and it was very good. I was using through a Geo and my Mrs was using i though her Etek 3 and it was fine. No breaks in the guns.

Is expensive paint worth paying for? Pretty new to all this, but i,ve done a few walk ons with my son and noticed that some of the other guys seem to be a lot more consistent with accuracy. Is this down to them having better markers , or better paint?
Currently using bt omega and slice.

Well from what ive bought(diablo heat) using through an etek 4 i think ive had 2 breaks in 3 boxes(6000) accuracy has been 7/10 but i would also maybe it is down to mostly the marker in my opinion,a few of my mates have used the same through x7 phenom and feel the same way! Hope this helps!

More expensive paint can be 'better' for a few reasons. You need to know why it is a 'higher grade' paint

Paint aimed at tournament players is very fragile which can give you a lot of barrel breaks if you don't have a gentle bolt, but is designed to break on impact.
This is great for tournament play but not so good in the woods

Consistency and accuracy are gained from a number of factors
The balls need to be consistently sized in their batch. This is a result of precision in manufacture, and good storage
You bore match the paintball and barrel - either by having collected a number of barrels or by using arising kit such as a freak kit
Instead of just chronographing at or within the limit you test out 'dialling in' the barrel.
With this you start with a high chrono velocity on the target range and fire a few shots, turn the velocity down a little and try a few shots etc.
In general you will find a more consistent 'grouping' at an optimum velocity, rather then the highest velocity you are allowed
