Hi guys and gals.

My names dave and i've wanted to get into paintballing before, and last week a gun came up for sale on a forum im a regular on (driftworks).

Its a tippmann 98 Custom, about 6 months old and only ever had one bottle of air through it. Gun, Tank, Hopper for £65 delivered.

Now i know its not the greatest gun out there, but i hear its pretty robust. and for the price i paid its not too much if i decided its not a sport for me.

Im based in cornwall,UK. There are a few sites round here but i dont really know what to do about, teams? competitions?

EDIT - Also, what upgrades would you recommend? I dont think my 98c will take the Egrip, but i deffinatly want a double trigger at least. Ill get the hang of the lingo later on

I work at pirate paintball in truro and also play for Cool As Ice so i am local to you.
Currently Cool As Ice is the only team in cornwall.
You are welcome to bring your marker to the site when you play the boss will give it the finale ok to use after he's checked it.

Competion wise being based in Cornwall you will be prob looking at NSPL or KOTH check out the NSPL forums for more info

Well both of these guys do air ball, as you have a custom 98, do you have a prefarance towards woods ball or super air ball like the NSPL? (so so people can point you towards the right direction)
