If you buy by the case, retail prices start at around 40 quid for 2000. Although you can get them much much cheaper if you're fortunate enough to play for a team with decent sponsorship or bulk discount.

Most punter sites will make you buy their paint though since that's how they make the money they need to stay in business and make a living. Walk-on days, where you turn up with your own gear and play are sometimes a fair bit cheaper or run on a BYO basis.

If you are playing re-ball then that's about average. It's what keeps paintball going and it needs to cover all of the expenses a site owner runs up. It might sound a lot, but remember most sites only run weekends and there are land/maintenance etc..... costs to think about. Plus you don't need your own kit etc...
If your playing regularly talk to the site...... lots have loyalty schemes, club cards etc... or think about tourney and walk ons.
You have your own kit so a walk on should cost maybe £10 green fee and about £40 for 2000 paintballs.
Try a big game, one every month from now to October. Same sort of costs apply.

Want to play in a Tourney? we are entering a total newbie team into a tournament on June 15th.....wanna sign up? should cost you about £60 max for the day.
