are there any paintball game that can be played over the web in the same was as say halflife or tribes could be a good laugh linking up with the bods off here and having a few virtual torneys

There used to be a Counter Strike/Half Life MOD that was paintball and used angels, cockers etc depending on your funds but I can not find it any more, the only other Paintball game I have seen that is (i think) internet compatible is
Paintball Heroes. Its supported by the UKPSF (and no offence intended to Steve Bull and co, I think he agrees with me) But don't touch it the game sucks ar5e. It tries to look like Half Life but is badly put together, Control is poor graphics terrible and no game play.

Just done a quick search on www.planethalflife.com for paintball, and it comes up with 2 paintball mods being developed at the moment.
By the looks of it, neither are ready for release, but look to be coming along quite well!!

i saw a really cool mod for rainbow 6, had sup'air, hyperball fields, the guns were cockers and angels and they had lots of team top, like the full JT range. i lost the link to it now, but its bound to be on a game fan website some where.

they should make a p8ntball mod for return to castle wolfenstein as the multiplayer game lends it self really well to p8ntball.
there are none of the silly pickups laying on the floor or any super weapons all you get is your basic weapon and a limited amount of rounds

All these mods are OK but I can not get into Rainbow 6 I just could not do it and I am a half life fan.
They need to realease a full on just paintball game with sup'air and all the tourneys, woodland.
You start as a novice team playing local field as you progress you get more markers and money etc etc etc. Add bits to the gun increase rof.
That would be good.
