Padded gear

To be honest mate, all the brands are very similar when it comes to padded jerseys etc, as there are the elbow/knee pads to go with instead so it all depends on your preference, I used to like Empire trousers, bought a pair of Planet Eclipse trousers and never looked back but I would still recommend Empire to anyone.

I wear dye trousers and they're very comfortable and padded but as above they are all very similar the differences come down to appearance and colour 
I have the HK Army trousers and while they were expensive I do love them. Super comfy and padded well.
