PA Cup and Presentation Evening 2005

The PA Cup (20th November) and the PA Presentation Evening (26th November) are definitely going ahead.

The Cup is now a one day event on Sunday 20th November - teams will still get 14 qualifying games and finals and there are still prizes for the top 8 qualifying teams.

Please note: the 5-man shield is cancelled. Please call me asap on 07970 065628 to book a place at the Cup as we are limiting the number of teams.

Tickets for the presentation evening also need to be arranged asap please. We have had a lot of enquiries about the dress code so to clarify - officially this is a black tie event but in reality that means the same as last year - formal smart wear please (a tux is not compulsory but does look cool! dark trousers and smart shirt are fine). Nominations for PA Manager of the Year and PA Player of the Year will be sent out to managers soon.

PA Rounds Four and Five are on SKY SPORTS this weekend (28th/29th October).

Round Six is on SKY SPORTS next weekend (4th/5th November).

Quite a few people have been asking if the PA Cup and presentation evening are open only to PA registered teams.

The PA Cup has always been an open event, the only criteria being that the team adopts a town name and registers a squad list with the PA.

The presentation evening is open to anyone with an interest in paintball! Although the focus of the evening is obviously the presentations, it is also a social event for anyone involved in paintball.

The managers conference being held on the same day as the presentation evening and at the same venue, is open to representatives of any team that may be considering taking part in the league next year whether they finally decide to take part or not.

The PA is still working very hard to encourage professional independent referees and anyone who is interested in becoming a referee next season, please call us.
