Sorry guys! Was altering something in the previous thread and accidentally binned it.

Anyways.

In the next few weeks we will be upgrading our server to one of over double the specs of the current one in preparation for various initatives up and coming for the site.

One point that was brought up in the past and is often asked is people wanting to have an exclusive @p8ntballer.com email.

So now is your chance to let us know if the interest is there for us to look into setting up this service.

So, would you be interested?

I have p8ntballer email. And it is the only email I use any more. It is spot on, updates when necessary etc.

Plus, I got the email name cooks@p8ntballer.com

When else, ever, have you had the email name you wanted? not cooks1234rocks etc?

I have been using my current e-mail address for about 11 years now, and have had offers in the past for different e-mail address's relating to the forums I am on but have never really thought about it because I can’t see a beneficial use.

But, cooks or anyone who has a current p8nt address, does it open in a outlook express tab or on here using the p8ntballer website?

Actually no, it was my fault in telling Jon something that clearly didn't come out right which led to that thread asking questions that shouldn't have been asked.
Oops, sorry guys, it was a genuine mistake.

Anyways, one of the things I am gonna do is allocate one of these for every Plat member for free .. if indeed they want one .. if not, no problemo.
Also, if any of my mods want one, they can have one.

Does anyone know how easy it is to change your linked email addy with paypal? As this is the only place I give my email out for buying/selling I'd use the p8nt addy for that, sort of another peace of mind extra for selling on here. (I'm on my phone so it would take forever to start trawling through all the paypal settings!)

Offer both a very sleek outlook style web interface as well as the option to configure your email client

Very few people manage to get their names as an email address, I'm one of them.

Although a p8nt email could be very useful, especially if the interface is any better than Hotfail (which shouldn't be too hard). Would be very nice to use in stead of my personal mail address
