Hey, what about the P8 awards? Ie 'Biggest twat' ; '****est post'

I had a look, but decided I wasn't going to vote. All the categories appear to be "required" & I don't feel qualified to vote on e.g. which US site I've never been near in my life, is best. In fact, the whole thing seems very US-centric - in the 1st 5 categories (people & teams) the only non-US mentions are Robbo & Laurent in the "Best Ambassadors" category.
My personal choice of ball is Blaze - not listed. I've only ever shot one of those mentioned, about one hopper load ever.
Many people in the UK would want to vote for Planet as best retailer, but can't.
Campaign Cup isn't an option for best tourney.
"Best Field" lists US fields only, as does Best Big Game Venue.
I think this is going to give a very skewed view of who or what actually IS the best out there & worthy of the award, and I would also find it quite interesting to know who decided the entrants for each category, & what criteria they used to determine this.

Now of course Liz you kinda undercut your own argument by mentioning Blaze. The paint category could easily have been a one item option.
Is there an internal power struggle amongst the gnomes taking place and does this poll indicate the anti-Brit forces are pre-eminent? Move over Jeremy a new conspiracy explodes on the scene!

3 of the 5 ambassadors are European!!! And tha best players and teams are American at tha moment...
For various reasons we had to have a limited category poll, so tha PGI staff and various colleagues - who amongst them have been to pretty much every major event, shot every gun, tested every paint etcetcetc. - were asked to shortlist each category down to five. Of course everyone's favorite field and player and team and gun cant be listed, but the category decissions were made as much by Euros as Americans.
As for tha necessary fields thing, good point well made!

I was hoping to see one of those moving tallies so we could keep track of votes so far. That would have been cool, or is this something you will be using for a future PGI article?
