As a lot of you have read these past couple of years, our sport and industry has had nothing but bad news to contend with; if it's not falling sales it's teams packing up and event attendance declining; well, it's nice to get some good news for once especially when it concerns us all here at P8ntballer.com.
We've been analyzing our visitor data over the past few years, and it's recently become apparent we have reached an all time high in the number of visitors our site receives in any 30 day period since our records began.
At the time of posting this, we are currently the largest and most active paintball forum in Europe and are quickly hopping past some of the once great US sites in terms of activity in these bleak times.
So why have we done so well where other sites have not?
Innovation ... many of the other sites out there in more prosperous times simply imitated what we did here at P8nt, copying features and ideas from us, usually in a much less elegant manner, but never pushing the boundaries themselves.
While several years back there may have been enough “passing traffic” in the industry to satisfy these sites, now they are left with little but a whisper of the activity they once had.
But it is not just the staff here at P8ntballer that have contributed to this success, you guys, the users also helped us with your continued feedback.
You told us what you didn’t like, you told us what you did, and through this continued feedback loop, it has helped develop a site that is better tailored for your needs.
So where do we go now?
Well in the upcoming months you are going to see yet more innovation and changes to P8ntballer.com, we are not going to just sit on our laurels; we are going to continue to lead the way forward providing the best community experience for our members.
The first of these changes is already underway which is to upgrade the server on which the site runs.
This is in order to provide a more powerful platform to allow us to deliver new features and content, as well as speed up everything that currently takes place; basically it will provide a slicker experience for you guys every time you visit us.
As the economy as a whole recovers, and our sport once again has the opportunity to flourish, here at P8ntballer-Forums we aim to lead the way and provide you with the premier site for all paintball related activities.
Finally, from all the staff here at P8ntballer, we thank you the users for sticking by us through the hard times, and we hope we can continue to provide the same high quality service as we look towards the future.
Regards
The P8ntballer Team
