There's a lot of talk going on now regarding improvements in reffing and overall rule enforcement, and I do think this is the silver lining from the incident at 'Cup. My question is, with all the splitting, where does this leave the PRO?

With the competing alphabets supposedly planning on no direct scheduling competition let's see how independent the various organizers really want their refs to be. No reason PRO couldn't do both, is there?

Okay, but who the heck's backing them now? Given their lackluster history, I'm guessing no one really wants to demand exclusive rights. It's not a real advertising point yet to announce P.R.O. reffing staffs.
So, how will they do it now, do they just get a cut from whatever tourney they ref, or do they still have company sponsorship? Are they up to strength for a big event? Will they be scrapped and reborn as something else, exclusively for one league or another? To me, the P.R.O. is still alive only as an idea, a damn good one, but still nothing of substance.
And as far as me being gone for a bit, my hard drive decided to retire, so I was just peeking in at work real quick, all ninja-like. It obviously cut down my rambling time. Hey, thanks for noticing though.
