So now we all know - the dates for the P.A League and the Central Paintball League will be the same through out 2004 - is this not more evidence that everyone needs to get their heads together and sort out one league for the U.K.

We have backed the P.A from the start - and know that they have the future of our sport at heart. Anyone who attended the P.A Cup knows exactly what standard we can expect from the league in 2004. Only the very best - in promotion and facilities for teams and spectators alike.

Lincoln Storm will be there - come on teams make your choice !!

Yes,

We had planned to play in both - however the P.A leaugue was our primary aim for 2004. We just fell it represents the future of the sport - having teams representing their area aswell as their sponsors and themselves. We have had alot of local interest from Radio , Newspapers and Sponsors from out of the sport of paintball - just because our team is called "Lincoln" Storm. This can only be good for the sport.

The schedule of events for 2004 is getting manic - so something had to give and a choice had to be made - I also know that the P.A league will become the National League over the coming years and we want to continue our support of the efforts the P.A are making to organise the chaos that is U.K paintball and unite the country - so we really do know who is the best etc.

Just like to point out that..........

This year saw for the first time 5 regional series organisations come together to unite the/our sport of paintball, in the form of the UKPL.

This body sought to unify th UK paintball scene by creating a linked National series. The qualifying events now completed, the first UKPL finals are almost upon us, who will win..........who will make up the UKPL in 2004?

As for next season it will be very interesting, many lessons learnt, competition is good, it stops people from becomming complacent.
It focuses desire and determination, UK paintball has never had it so good, 2004 will see over 30 7man concept tourny's. watch out the rest of the world. The Brits are comming.

As for the PGI Central 7's we are prepared to move our dates so that where possible they fall 2 weeks before or after the millenium series, where possible.

Because of Gillie and hatts's ( spelling) hard work ( and everyone elses involved) Jonathon Ross got shot! and peeps have been on the radio and in the paper.

because of this maybe we shouldn't be attracting the big teams like nexus or k2 ( see blakeys post), maybe it should be peeps like the So manc?( I know some of them were from big teams but even sunderland got in the paper and trust me they are a dodgy lot! ) they put paintball on the map they were asked to be on tele not nexus, sorry this is really gonna annoy peeps, but at the school where I worked I've put a link to the PA cup and Sk3 the one thing which has come back is I'm supporting manchester next year, ok so they were year 7's who wouldn't know a decent team from a frog but they were interested, (some even have the picture of so manc as a backdrop?)

People had no idea about who was who on bullys site ( not knocking the man at all love his tourneys wouldn't play em otherwise!) attract the new "city/town" teams get the peeps interested, then the people will rise as one and forever will the land be used for paint ball! *cough* sorry erm you get my point

John Still Scarred from minibus trip!
