over 35's still on??

As far as I'm aware it's still on and I'm really looking forward to it as this could be the last chance I get to play for some time :(

Kinda busy with a few other things in 2004 :D

Oh and see I'm not dead...just to clear up any rumors that may have started (....although I get the impression there's a few who wish I was :D ) I do still keep an eye on what goes on here....

The over 35's event is on.

More info will follow but basically we have 35/40 deposits but I recon if all the players attend who have spoken to me we should have 70+ so it will be 10 teams of 7 one big division. Teams will be drawn out of a hat so you will get to play with players from other teams and other areas of the country.

At least 80% proceeds will be donated to Macmillian nurses.

There will be air supplied and your lunch.

If you have not already booked in then send your deposits asap.

Ahhh I am so looking forward to this...mostly on the basis that there might actually be someone I can beat on the break to the 10...

My only concern is that as lunch is included there might not be much left to actually hand over to charity. I hope they're well stocked with bacon sarnies, cheeseburgers & pies (lots & lots of pies)...

Would be nice to see some of the real "old timers" come out of retirement for this one. I think this is going to be one of the best tourneys of the year...no annoying little sprogs everywhere crying "my gun doesn't work" or shouting from the 50 "check the fat b*stard" to which the usual marshals reply when I play is not "where?" but "which fat b*stard?"

...be nice to see the young pups supporting this event by caddying for the eldsters tho :)..."might I suggest the 14" barrel for this one sir?"

C'mon Gramps (and indeed Gran'ma)...get your Damart thermals on and get your arse out for the showdown of the year :D

Steve...who's providing their expert wisdom and refereeing discretion for this little soiree of skill, beauty, grace and athleticism?

I do believe some of the younger members of the paintball world will be offering advice about when to leave the field. I am sure the wiser player will then explain to the young marshal "Look I have been playing for 10 years and I can tell the difference between spray and a direct hit on my mask and this is spray"

Hopefully Killer Clowns, some Nexus players and a few more will be marshalling
