Well
Just got back from BULLYS over 35`s Tourny ,what a great day, marshalling by the nexus guys was spot on ,but to be honest they had very little to do as all hits were taken and hands raised.
Site was great, and the sun shone all day.
And it was good to play a days balling with guys who were all nearly the same age as each other :).
All i can say is well done bully mate and i hope we do it all again next year :):).
and to all the guys playing today =cheers lads it was a great days balling and a fun day out :):):):)
Now to a moan :(
At some stage during the charity haircutting, some A$£hole, low life tealeaving son of a camel, stole John Boniche`s wallett, which he accidently left on the table while he watched the haircutting, now while I fully realize its stupid to leave your wallett laying around ,I always thought that paintballers could be trusted-how wrong i am ,and while I know their were punters/recball players on the site ,none of them came into the tourny area,so it had to be one of the players from today that stole it,they took 110-150 in cash from the wallett and then threw the wallett away, the first john knew of the theft was when someone brought his wallett minus cash back to him.
So I will say now =you are a thieving Barsteward, and the lowest of the low to steal anyones cash, and especially my mates ,I hope who ever stole it reads this [and they probable will] and remembers its nearly christmas and john is over a hundred quid short,And I hope whoever stole the cash has the worst christmas possible and pays for this crappy deed a hundred fold .

The Paintball Association
What an absolute twat who could do that to anyone nevermind John who would/has helped anyone with a gun problem:( .
Now that has totally pissed me off after a great days paintballing with the older guys in the sport.

I suggest we all who attended send two quid to bully who will collect it all and send John his money back any excess can go to the charity of the day.

Bully's address is

Pissed Off

I will be putting another posting up later today or tommorrow re the 99% good points from the event but I would just like to comment on this issue.

I have been organising events for about 10 years and "Yes" there have been items stolen at events but very few compared to the number of tournaments I have organised. I believe that paintballers are like a big family; yes you play hard and yes there are disagreements but at the end of the day you all go home as friends. My point - Friends don't steal from one another !!!!!

So the person who stole John's wallet is not a paintballer he is scum!!!!

I hope the person was wearing gloves as they will have left fingerprints on the wallet, we will know in a few days.

If the person sees this on this forum and wants to send the money back then my address is on this thread - recorded delivery, cash and then I will not know where it came from.

Jon Bon

I talked to Jon after this happened and, despite it, he was still in good spirits - he just said "it's been an expensive day, that's all".

I agree with the suggestion we should donate £2 each - if people can't send it to Steve for whatever reason, perhaps Planet Eclipse would be kind enough to have a "collection tin" on their counter.

I'll suggest this to Ledz when I see him on Wednesday.

:)

**** I xposted again - soz!

...and, yeah - it was a fab day :D :D :D

Whoever took the money won't be happy person! Do bad and you'll be done bad I say :(

I'll put a fiver in the post post for John tomorrow.

Nothing has ever been stolen from me on a day out (early rec'ball days excluded) although I usually leave my gear unlocked. I find we are a small community and can trust and watch out for each other. Let's keep it that way.

BTW. Whoever mentioned the smart-tag idea for markers to me = I'm up for it!

I have got to add my congrats to Bully , Nick and everyone who put in the hard work on Sunday - what a great day - played in the best spirit - hard and fair and for a great cause !!! Even the gods smiled down on us with the weather.

Then for someone to do that to Jon Bon - what a loser - hope we get some fingerprints and I for one want the guy naming and shaming and out of our sport for good !!!!!

Peace - and thanks to all of Team 4 especially Tim and Steve W - great day - enjoyed playing alongside you guys !!!
