Personally I'd say no, unless some one really wants it. A new one is only £30-£40(if it's a standard 0.8l) the buyer is looking at having to have it Re-hydrotested which is probably £25'ish they may as well have bought a new one.

Can't sell on here and, as the cost of a re-test is almost the same as a new bottle, no sane person would buy it. You could ebay it, but that would make you a bit of a git, or sell as a paintball themed paperweight?

I am not sure how it is by you, but certain smaller tanks are exempt from needing to be rehydro tested. Depending on what you have, you may want to look into your local laws..

That's only the really small ones, like 0.13l tanks. Pretty much noone uses these, apart from a few pump players. So I doubt Robby has one, but good call just in case ;)

When a couple of steelies died on me, I just salvaged the parts - reg, burst disc etc and sold them on or used as spares...

Yup. Just figured I would point it out.

I purchased a large lot of used CO2 tanks and ended up trying to junk them at a recycler. The tanks were pretty much worthless, but I got a few $ per valve/reg due to the brass.
