Anyone got any idea how I open my Nat settings on my Orange router? They are set to moderate at the mo and it's screwing up my xbox live. I've found a guide and had a go, but it hasn't seemed to work. Anyone got any ideas?

What is it you are trying to do? Do you need to open specific ports or do you want to turn the firewall off completely (not a good idea)?

One easy way to do what you are after is to do what I did - change the LiveBox out for a decent router ;).

If your router has a DMZ, shove the xbox in there, it basically sits the xbox outside the firewall and opens up the NAT settings to fully open :)

Ive always had my xbox in our DMZ and havent had 1 problem :)

Right, I'm not very good when it comes to things like this so I did a drawing. Should the number in the circle be the Xbox's IP, and not my PC's? (that's assuming they are different, I don't know)...

Yes the IP that needs to be within the DMZ needs to be your xbox's IP.

ok, now it's telling me I need to set my firewall to minimum. Any ideas? (Sorry, as I said I don't have a clue about these things)
