I just wanted to hear from you guys across the pond how you think Lasoyas' legacy in paintball will be viewed. I think hes not done yet, but lets just say for ****s and giggles he is. It is my opinion that he helped bring us into a new era with his aggressive play.

Fun Police Ear Twist: I'd wager there are better ways to deliver your now missing Point #2.

Chris's legacy?? I'd agree he helped us bring some showmanship into the sport but in the early days so did people like Fred Schutlz and (although he's not that old) Chuck Hendsch. How about Dave YB himself he too received a lot of media coverage as a player. Even our Robbo (in the days when he had hair with his gel - plz don't hit me Pete!) and Phil Ham.

Chris did give us one thing though that all the others didn't - Pony Tails! Seriously having known Chris a long time I've never really noticed what he has given the sport just the fact that he was always there and what ever was happening he was behind it somewhere - so yes I suppose he gave a lot.

I seem to recall him being the first baller to get asked for an autograph though.

If he leaves I will miss him but I am sure he won't be too far from the scene. If he stays I will still miss him - coz he's too damn sneaky on the field!

I definately agree with everything you say, but the thing with Lasoya is he bridges the gap between woods and supair. He proved you can be a superstar without being the most physically gifted player. Robbo touched on the subject of timing many many times and no-one shows that innate ability quite like chris. I would also like to know if you guys think this is real or not, my opinion is he quit all right, quit Infamous. just so you know I tried to have this discussion on PBN and got banned, which is why I came here, to enjoy an intellectual discussion. If anyone would like to hear my long theory of where hes going to play, first comment on your perceptions of Chris, please try to be constructive, we all know he cheats like the devil, and who will take his spot as the most controversial player....
oh i guess i should list what I have taken from Chris
1. Never accept no from the ladies til they call the cops
2. He showed the importance of the mental aspect of dominating an opponent, no one gets into someones head like him
3. That paintball CAN have superstars which IMO he was the first modern superstar along with Rocky
4. And some other stuff but my migraine is making me stupid
