Hi guys, i may be leaving myself open to attack here but this is once of our promo vids for our walkon, ive been reading a few of the posts about filming styles techniques etc and thought id throw this up and get some feed back and maby a few new ideas, after all paintball could do with asmuch good press and advertisement as possible so any ideas/feedback would be amazing (please be gentle with me ;) )
Just for the record we use two handheld video cameras and i have no idea what make or model
Thanks in advance

Six minutes is quite long, are you trying to make a trailer to advertise the event, or just show footage to people of a particular event?

I'd say fix the audio, the quietened thrash metal didn't really add much to the video, yet hearing guns just going "pop pop pop" got a bit boring. But if you are going to have the audio dominating, try and have the clip timings to match it (which can be difficult with the music genre choice you have) ;)

Also try and put in shorter clips too, to keep it interesting, as opposed to a couple of drawn out gunfights which can lose people's interests

Try looking at HK's compilation videos, they're usually quite good

yeh have to agree with dodge, the thrash metal was quite annoying, I found myself trying to understand what the song was about rather than watching the video!
Also a few of the clips are a bit boring? (typically the ones with un athletic people playing BUT i guess that shows how anyone can play?)

Also the constant advert from mayhem was a bit strange maybe try having an action filled video with an advert at the end?

anyway hope thats not too negative! and keep it up ;)
