online FPS

Ok i remember somone posting up a online FPS game a wile ago, and i have been playing the death out off it but now i have had to format my computer and i have forgot the name off the game, any one no?

It was a FREE online FPS game where yoou would go in a like chatroom thing and then play against other ppl online.

If there are any others that are FREE that people could point out that would be good, also may Buy one soon (thats right buy not download) and just woundered what is a good one to go for? i mean good for playing online.

ps, sorry this aint about paintball and its not the weekend but im very bored like some other people!

PlanetSide will be 'free' soon. They're just sorting out things like the UI to make it newbie friednly, and then 1 year 'trial' accounts will be allowed. Though there's gonna be a limit on the diversity of your character. Anyway, it's a good game, it used to be the best game ever made, but it has had some changes that make it meerly a figment of its former self, but it's still the only true MMOFPS.

...But I think that free game you speak of may have been 'War rock'.

What was you char/empire/outfit? (Assuming you played Werner)

I'm not too sure on when it will be free, it's gonna be in the coming months though. They had us beleive it was going to be February 14th for a while. I think they're also realising the vunerability the game will have to hackers so they'll hopefully work on that aswell.

sony didnt mess swg up at all they KILLED it straight out....then nailed the coffin shut the day they let new players become jedi without having to do months of work to get it.
