So, whatcha think of the stuff I sent you so far? Oh, and I got that interview done...it's a little long though: 7 pages, 4600 words. Probably I'll need to trim it down. Any thoughts?

Ooh...looks like some major condensing is in order! Good thing is, though, there's no shortage of material. He's a really likeable guy and is definately a man dedicated towards the promotion, enjoyment, and well being of the sport. It's almost a shame to dump any of the words as they do form one hell of a story, but I definately agree with you on brevity being a desirable end to achieve. I shall do my best.
Only a suggestion but, what about doing it in a serial style, same as how they do "best selling new" books in newspapers?
